Why is “Goal” sometimes a four-letter word?

You might be a goal-setting enthusiast. “Let’s make a goal to get this done!” you shout. But actually getting it done can be a problem.

You might hatethe word. The “G” word. You can’t spell “ugh” without the letter. But then you find yourself spinning your wheels.

Why is it so hard to work with The Word That Shall Not Be Named?
